Nov 14 Project | Roundup

by: Scott Bakken

November 2014 was the launch of Socality Community Projects and we were excited to see all the projects designed around the theme of 'food'. The goal was to create a project that would build community and give back to the community using food as the central idea. Communities could then share their project with us as well as post on social media using #socalityfoodproject.

It was exciting to see people from across the earth take their lives and gifts and use these for impact. One thing we know is you don't have to be famous or have a large platform to make a difference, but rather just simply be willing. It's from this position that we can help others around us.

Seattle saw Stefanie Krach gather and organize a project that would support and give back to Seattle Union Gospel Mission feeding over 15 families for one week. Riverside, CA hosted an instameet with over 70 people attending using #socalitysocal and collected non-perishable food items for Path of Life Ministries. These are just a few of the projects that took place.

You can read stories, view videos and check out photos below all created and captured by those who designed community projects!

Check out the theme for December #socalitygiftproject and see how you can take the lead on being a catalyst for change in your community!

All for eternity
