There is a theme in scripture that I am very passionate about and strive to pursue in my walk with Jesus daily. that theme can be found in the book of Ephesians/
"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved Children. and walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us , a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Ephesians 5:1-2
If we claim the name of Christ, which if you are reading this there's a good chance that you do, then we are called as followers of Jesus to appropriately and dangerously live out the gospel of Christ in our lives, NOT just on Facebook, NOT just on Instagram, NOT just on twitter, or any other social media platforms to where we can talk about Jesus from a smart phone or computer. Those outlets of Gospel living and display are wonderful and necessary, however, we must take it further than just social media avenues. Jesus demands it of us.
He so humbly and powerfully entered human history through the miraculous womb of Mary. Where He lived a perfect/sinless life that you and I cannot, and He died the perfect death that you and I deserved. Died on a tree that HE created, then tossed into a tomb where He only stayed for three days. Praise God He didn't stay dead. Nope. He conquered the grave and now sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for his children. Seriously!? That's our KING! Praise God for the cross and the message of the gospel! May you live out the gospel intentionally and dangerously this week so that lost souls can get glimpse of the irresistible beauty of King Jesus!
