No matter where we go, we can and should be people who are kind, helpful and approachable.

This isn't an extravagantly beautiful photo in regards to "photography," but this is an honest and beautiful photo in regards to what life is all about.

Being willing to help others.

Being available to help others.

Being willing to stop what we are doing and being open to helping others in need.

We've all been there. A situation we didn't plan arises. More often than not, they are inconvenient situations and can really ruin our mood and our "schedule."

The mood lightens when we see a glimmer of hope. We see the goodness of others who reach out to help us when we aren't sure what to do. Those moments when we hope that help will arrive and that we can find some resolution.

I pray we will be people who are aware of the world and the people around us. I pray we will look up when we are zoned into our own daily agendas so we can make sure we aren't missing an opportunity to love, serve or help someone.

Sometimes the unplanned scenarios are the greatest opportunities to make a difference.

Spread the love. Smile at others. Look people in the eyes. Acknowledge others. Be approachable. Engage with the world around you. Be helpful. Even if it's simply helping a few young college girls jump start their car. :-)

"Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too." Philippians 2:4 (NLT)
